Aussie Hoops is Basketball Australia’s official introductory program, providing a fun and inclusive Basketball experience for 5-10-year-olds that serves as an introduction to a lifetime of involvement in the game.
In the first 2 weeks of each season, we will have sign-on days and come-and-try days. If you wish to do a trial please email bom@sunburybasketball.com.au or register above.
What is Aussie Hoops?
Aussie Hoops, our fun and safe basketball program suitable for boys and girls from 5 to 10 years of age, and of all abilities.
With a "game sense" approach, children learn through playing games and activities, providing an introduction to a lifetime of basketball involvement.
Our three-stage program is tailored to each age group, ensuring relevant and suitable activities and games to improve skills and increase competitiveness, creating a pathway to local club competition.
Our qualified Basketball Development Officer will provide coaching and resources to help improve fundamental skills and assist in the growth of club-based coaches and players alike.
