The SBA would like to bring to your attention an important update regarding the upcoming VJBL tryouts. Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have had to make changes to the tryout schedule that was previously announced.
Why the Change?
The tryouts were originally scheduled to take place at Eric Boardman Stadium this long weekend. However, in recent days, we discovered some unexpected issues with the stadium's playing surface repair that was meant to have us on court late Friday. After thorough inspection, it was clear that the floor required more time to complete repairs to ensure the safety and fair play of our athletes.
Our Commitment to Safety and Fairness
The safety and well-being of our athletes is our top priorities. We understand how much preparation and dedication each player puts into their game, and we want to provide them with the best possible conditions for tryouts. The floor repairs are necessary to ensure a level playing field for all participants.
Updated details for the VJBL tryouts:
Sunday 1st October
o Under 12’s 8 am to 10 pm
o Under 14’s 11am to 1pm
o Under 16’s 2pm to 4 pm
o Under 18s 5pm to 7pm
Friday 6th October
o Under 14’s 6 pm to 7:30 pm
o Under 16’s 8 pm to 9:30 pm
Saturday 7th October
o Under 12’s 6 pm to 7:30 pm
o Under 18’s 8 pm to 9:30 pm
Sunday 8th October
o Under 12’s 8 am to 10 pm
o Under 14’s 11am to 1pm
o Under 16’s 2pm to 4 pm
o Under 18s 5pm to 7pm

If you registered for the tryouts and have not received an email notification about these changes, we kindly ask you to check your email inbox, including your spam or junk folders, for a message from us via MailChimp. We have sent out detailed information about the rescheduled tryouts.
