Kelvin Bowers

Kelvin's Bio

Kelvin Bowers is one of the most significant coaching figures in Sunbury Jets history.

As Head Coach of the BigV Championship Men from 1994 to 2005, Kelvin coached 247 games and built a culture founded on hard work, discipline and commitment.

Under Kelvin’s leadership, the Sunbury Jets claimed the 1999 State Championship, finished State Runners-up in 2000 and reached the semi-finals in 2001, 2002 and 2003.

Kelvin was a recipient of the SBA’s “Colin Carter Achievement Award” in 1999, and Kelvin’s legacy is permanently honoured through the SBA’s annual “Sunbury Jets Best Club Person Award”, which bears his name.
