Junior Jets
Junior Jets is the opportunity for your child to take their basketball to the next level and compete in Australia’s largest junior competition, The Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL). VJBL is played on a Friday night in a large range of venues across the state.
The Junior Jets play in the prestigious Victorian Junior Basketball League (VJBL), where over 1000 junior teams compete to be the best in the state.
Many successful players have come out of this system, including Andrew Bogut, Matthew Dellavedova & Michele Timms to name a few. Jets teams are selected via a tryout process and compete against other associations such as Melbourne Tigers and Geelong United. The program is available for all SBA domestic players, and Jets players do not have to leave their domestic teams to play.
Jets players have access to quality coaching and compete in divisions such as the Victorian Junior State Championship (VC) and Victorian Junior Basketball League (Div 1-4).

Sunbury Jets’ Rep Ready program is designed to prepare our next crop of VJBL stars by exposing them to our offensive and defensive concepts, standards and expectations. The aim is to rapidly improve each athlete’s skill set to be able to impact game play at the VJBL level.
Run and led by BOM, Will Scatchard, the program is also assisted by our U12 Head Coaches.
