Kennedy's Bio
Kennedy Kereama delivered one of the most successful coaching eras in Sunbury Jets history as Head Coach of the BigV Championship Women. Coaching from 2016 to 2018, Kennedy led the team to an extraordinary three consecutive State Championships, and in each of these three year’s winning the league’s “Coach of the Year” honours.

In 2016 the team went through the season undefeated which was a Sunbury Jet’s first, with the Jet’s winning “Most Valuable Player” and “Defensive Player of the Year” in a remarkable season.
​
Kennedy’s coaching experience covers a range of fields at all levels from FIBA International World and Olympic Qualifying Events and Tournaments to the grass roots. A career highlight was attending the 2008 Olympics with the New Zealand Tall Ferns. Kennedy continues today to work with many elite Australian team athletes and coaches.

Kennedy served as SBA Director of Coaching from 2016 to 2023, leaving a lasting legacy and culture through coach education, player development and elite performance standards.
