Nathan's Bio
Nathan Sellwood is the most capped BigV Championship player in Sunbury Jets history, playing a record 326 games between 1998 and 2016 while representing the Dodgers Basketball Club domestically.

An elite scorer and competitor, Nathan led the Sunbury Jets men’s team in scoring across multiple seasons and collected an extraordinary list of individual honours, including League MVP, Rookie of the Year, Grand Final MVP, League Scoring Title and five All-Star 5 selections.
​
Nathan’s service extends well beyond the court, having coached Sunbury Jets VJBL teams, currently serving as SBA Vice President from 2024 onward, and received multiple SBA awards recognising his leadership, commitment and service to the Association.

· Nathan led the Sunbury Jet’s Men’s team scoring in the following seasons: 1999,2000, 2002, 2003
· Nathan won the following BigV Championship Men’s individual awards through his career;
o 1999 – Rookie of the Year, All-Star 5 and Grand Final MVP
o 2000 and 2001 – All-Star 5
o 2002 – League MVP, All-Star 5 and League Scoring title
o 2003 – All-Star 5
· Nathan won the SBA’s “Colin Carter Achievement Award” in 2000 and 2008
· Nathan won the SBA’s “Bill Spratling Award – Jets Coaches Award” in 2024
· Nathan won the SBA’s “Kelvin Bowers Award – Sunbury Jets Best Club Person” in 2025.
