John O'Donnell

John's Bio

· John was Secretary of the SBA in 1990 and President in 1994.

· John, along with Glen Ward, instigated the inclusion of Sunbury into the CVIBL women’s competition and for ten years was Team Manager for our Jets Championship Women’s team, Club Delegate with CVIBL and a General Committee SBA Board member for many years as well.

· John served on the SBA Tribunal for over 20 years, acting as Secretary and Chairperson throughout this time.

· John was the local competition administrator for many years and ran numerous Sunbury tournaments, before Alex Watson took over the role.

· John was our MMBL Delegate for many years before also handing this role over to Alex Watson.

· John was a member on two Committees that saw two expansions of the Boardman Stadium.

· John has a great knowledge of the SBA and is known throughout as the unofficial Historian of all matters Sunbury Jets
