Melita Murphy

· Melita was Treasurer of the SBA in 1986 and 1987 and Charired on the SBA Tribunal for many years.

 

· Melita was on various SBA committees over the years, one important one was were she introduced the formation of U’8s and U’10’s domestic boys and girls competitions.

 

· Melita is also one of the founding members of the Sunbury All Abilities Basketball program and did a mountain of work in setting this remarkable program up for the SBA.

 

· Melita was on the Sunbury Jets Executive Committee also for a number of years.

 

· Melita won the SBA “Ron Elliott Memorial Trophy for Best Club Person” in 2006.
