Ron's Bio
· Ron was Treasurer of the SBA from 1981 through to 1985.
· A fantastic and popular member of the SBA, Ron was our liaison officer with the then Shire of Bulla (now City of Hume), as he worked there for many years.
· When the SBA had possession of Clarke Oval seven days/nights a week, Ron was our doorkeeper, cleaner and anything else that was needed to be done to ensure SBA domestic games where played.
· Ron coached and managed numerous Sunbury Jets VJBL teams over his journey.
· The SBA awards two annual awards named after Ron, the first being “The Most Promising Junior Boy” and the second being “The Best Club Person”.
· Ill health prevented Ron in later years to keep going on SBA committees and he is very sadly missed.
